How to Refresh a Single Table in a Power BI Semantic Model
Partial refresh for specific tables to save time and resources.
Refreshing only certain tables (partial refresh) reduces wait time and load when the rest of the model is already up to date. In Power BI Desktop and the Service, you can trigger refresh for selected tables.
How to do it
In Power BI Desktop, use Transform data to open Power Query, then right-click a query and refresh just that query. In the Service, use the refresh API or the UI to run a refresh that targets specific tables (when supported).
Partial refresh is especially useful for very large models or when one table (e.g. a fact table) changes often and others (e.g. dimensions) do not.
